Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about our in-home care and process.

Quality of life can be difficult to judge alone. Changes in appetite, mobility, breathing, pain, accidents, anxiety, or loss of interest in normal routines may be signs your pet needs additional support. We can help you evaluate comfort and next steps.
We begin by answering questions and giving your family time. When everyone is ready, your pet receives gentle sedation to help them relax and become comfortable. The final medication is given only after your pet is fully sedated.
The goal is a calm and pain-free passing. Sedation is used first so your pet can become deeply relaxed and comfortable before the euthanasia medication is administered.
Most visits take about 45 to 60 minutes, but we do not rush families. The timing depends on your pet's needs and your family's pace.
We can coordinate communal cremation or private cremation with ashes returned. We will review available options and pricing before the appointment.
No. If your pet is in active distress or needs immediate stabilization, please contact a 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital.
